Siena Heights University Mission Statement

The mission of Siena Heights University, a Catholic University founded and sponsored by the Adrian Dominican Sisters, is to assist people to become more competent, purposeful, and ethical through a teaching and learning environment which respects the dignity of all.

Course Description

Students will reflect on a number of essays preparatory to writing five to six papers.  Students will also study the ways in which writing relates to a variety of courses. A brief documented paper will allow students to practice summary and paraphrase, as well as the techniques of integrating the ideas of others in their own writings. Both form and content are emphasized in the arguments and reflections.
